NPO in Standerton thanks community for donations

Spelenyane, a non-profit organisation from Sakhile, is reaching out to the communities in KwaZulu-Natal.

KZN was recently flooded as widely reported and declared a disaster area.

Their chairman, Mandla Mazibuko, thanked the community who have donated so far on Friday, June 24.

Non-perishable tins of food, bottled water, clothes, shoes, blankets and disposable nappies can still be dropped off at the Thusong Centre in Sakhile.

The Standerton Advertiser in 13B Burger Street, Standerton will also serve as a drop-off point for goods.

Their biggest concern at this stage is lack of transport to KZN.
