Hawks also arrest owner of muscle shop in Secunda

Natalie Pretorius (62) from Middelburg was released on R5000 bail by the Secunda Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, March 15, after she was arrested by the Hawks Serious Organised Crime Investigation team based in Secunda for Contravening the Medicines and Related Substances Act 101/1965.  

She surrendered herself to the Hawks at their offices in Secunda.  

Pretorius is the owner of the shop where Kruger Piater (28) was arrested by the Hawks last week following a search and seizure operation.  

Steroids to the value of R300 000 were confiscated upon Piater’s arrest. He was released on bail of R 5000.   Meanwhile, Pretorius’ case has been postponed to June 10 where she is expected to appear alongside Piater.
