A vehicle was hi-jacked at around 9:30 this morning, February 10 in Secunda.
The vehicle was recovered in a field close to the 50/50 crossing between Kinross and Kriel after SIPRU Security was activated for the vehicle.
MavCorp High Risk Response joined forces in the recovery.
The police’s Crime Intelligence and K9 units are currently on scene.
A search is now on for the suspect/s that ran into a mielie plantation.
It is not known whether the suspects fled in another vehicle.
