Three people injured in accident at eMbalenhle

A woman and two men were injured when their vehicles collided on the R546 in eMbalenhle this morning, September 29.

Mr Russel Meiring, communications officer of ER24 ambulance services said their paramedics arrived at 09:45 to find a woman seated inside one vehicle parked in the middle of the road while two men were walking around their car, parked on the side of the road.

Medics assessed the patients and found that the woman was in a serious condition while the two men had escaped with minor injuries.

The patients were treated, and the woman was provided with pain-relief medication before being transported to nearby hospitals for further care.

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
