Four injured in head-on collision at Kinross

According to Mr Ross Campbell, Multimedia Producer for ER24 ambulance services, their paramedics arrived on the scene at 20:36 to find the wrecked remains of the two vehicles still in the road.

A head-on collision between two light motor vehicles on the R546, Kinross, has left four men with minor to moderate injuries on Saturday night, September 18.

According to Mr Ross Campbell, Multimedia Producer for ER24 ambulance services, their paramedics arrived on the scene at 20:36 to find the wrecked remains of the two vehicles still in the road.

“A 39-year-old man from a Kia was found to have suffered moderate injuries and was treated and transported by ER24 to Mediclinic Highveld for further care.

“Three men, believed to be in their mid to late 20s, from a Toyota were found to have suffered minor to moderate injuries.”

Mr Campbell said the driver, who had suffered minor injuries and one of the passengers who had suffered moderate injuries were treated and transported by ER24 to Evander Provincial hospital for further care.

“The third man, also a passenger and also suffering moderate injuries, was treated and transported by another service on the scene.”

The Fire Department as well as the police were on the scene for further investigations.
