Mediclinic Highveld is vaccination centre

Mediclinic Highveld in Trichardt is an operating Covid-19 vaccination centre that provides access for any eligible person who still wishes to get vaccinated.

Ms Sphiwe Mahlalela, patient experience manager at Mediclinic Highveld, said the centre is operating on an appointment basis to ensure that those allocated to the facilities by the EVDS system are prioritised and that there is sufficient stock.

Limited walk-ins will be accepted where EVDS vaccination appointments have not been met.

This vaccination centre is operational from Mondays to Fridays from 08:00 to 17:00 and if offering the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

“As this pandemic continues to progress throughout South Africa, Mediclinic would strongly emphasise the need for the public to protect their own health and the health of others by being vaccinated against Covid-19,” said Ms Mahlalela.

“Once you are eligible, register yourself for the vaccination and then go to be vaccinated.

“Vaccination protects against becoming severely ill from the virus, as well as reducing the risk of death.

“We ask the community to please help others who need help with registering,” said Ms Mahlalela.
