Highvelder wants to ‘bake’ the world a better place

Highvelder also invites any avid bakers who wish to make a donation to bake 12 or 24 cupcakes.

ERMELO – With September around the corner and it being Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Highvelder has once again decided to partner with Cupcakes of Hope, a non-profit company (NPC) and public benefit organisation (PBO) to host a fundraising event.

Cupcakes of Hope aims to raise awareness of childhood cancer and raise funds for families in need of medical assistance.

Highvelder staff have pledged to bake 250 cupcakes to be sold at the paper’s office in 43 Kerk Street on September 30.

We would, however, like to match the 1 000 cupcakes sold during our event in June.

Cupcakes will be sold for R5 each, however, any donations are welcome.

All proceeds will be donated to the Cupcakes of Hope NPC/PBO.

Highvelder also invites any avid bakers who wish to make a donation to bake 12 or 24 cupcakes.

These can be handed in at the offices on September 29.

Together with the support of the Ermelo community, we can “bake” a difference!

Cupcakes of Hope is a community-driven project that achieves its objectives through the love of baking cupcakes, community participation and amazing events.
