GSDM vehicle stolen during alleged hijacking

According to information received the two employees were approached by three men who were allegedly armed. 

Two employees of Gert Sibande District Municipality were allegedly hijacked earlier tonight, 28 May in Thusi Village, Ermelo.

According to information received, the two employees were approached by three men who were allegedly armed.

They were dropped off in Pet Street and their white Toyota Hilux double cab was stolen.

Mr Theo Craven, control room operator for ACSU and the district manager for the SACCW Gert Sibande Region, send out a BOLO (be on the lookout) for the vehicle on numerous emergency groups.

The registration number of the vehicle is KDF096MP.

The vehicle is branded with Gert Sibande District Municipality stickers and has no canopy.
