Highvelder wants to “bake” a difference in the lives of children with cancer

The Highvelder staff have their baking aprons ready and are planning to bake 500 cupcakes to be sold at the Highvelder’s office at 43 Kerk St, Ermelo on Thursday, 3 June.

The Highvelder is again partnering with Cupcakes of HOPE, a non-profit company (NPC) and public benefit organisation (PBO) that aims to raise awareness about childhood cancer and raising funds for families in need of medical assistance.

The Highvelder staff have their baking aprons ready and are planning to bake 500 cupcakes to be sold at the Highvelder’s office at 43 Kerk St, Ermelo on Thursday, 3 June.

The cupcakes will be sold for R5 each, however, any donations are welcome.

All proceeds will be donated to the Cupcakes of Hope NPC/PBO.

Any left-over cupcakes will be donated to the Ermelo SAVF Old Age Home.

The Highvelder also invites any avid bakers who wish to donate, to bake 12 or 24 cupcakes.

These can be handed in at the Highvelder offices on 2 June.

Together with the support of the Ermelo community, we can “bake” a difference!

Cupcakes Of Hope is a community-driven project that achieves its objectives through the love of baking cupcakes, community participation, and amazing events.

Cancer Survivors’ Day takes place on 6 June, and the Highvelder wants to celebrate these heroes in Ermelo.

With this event we want to give hope to the newly diagnosed, support those who are currently on treatment and celebrate those who have beaten cancer.

We hope to see you on 3 June – let’s make a difference together!
