Imojoe International takes on clean-up challenge Secunda CBD

This forms part of a clean-up and maintenance challenge that local businesses and residents have been taking on to repair potholes, paint street markings and verge cutting.

SECUNDA – The team at Imojoe International has been hard at work to ensure potholes had been closed up and parking signs painted in the Secunda CBD.

Besides this, a major clean-up has taken place to rid the CBD of litter.

This forms part of a clean-up and maintenance challenge that local businesses and residents have been taking on to repairing potholes, painting street markings and verge cutting, due to the lack of service delivery by Govan Mbeki Municipality.

A total of 300 bags of tar were used to close up potholes in the CBD.

Security has also been beefed up to ensure a safer shopping and working environment and experience.

“We have 24-hour CCTV surveillance in and around the Secunda CBD and highly trained security personnel to ensure all patrons’ safety.

“We are making the Secunda CBD a safer place to work, shop and play,” said businessman and local resident, Mr Imraan Salajee.

He is appealing to the public to come and support the local businesses in the CBD.

“The area is clean, safe and maintained.”

He invites shoppers to take a walk through the CDB to see the changes for themselves.

You may also be surprised by some new shops with plenty of bargains in store.

Evander CBD and Olive Tambo Drive have also seen repairs of potholes being done by the team of Imojoe International.

A total of 56 bags of tar were used.
