Three vehicles collide in De Emigratie Street
“The vehicle collided with a Toyota Hilux, which resulted in the Hilux overtuning and ending up on it’s roof on the side of the road,” Mr Hilarius said.
Three vehicles were involved in an accident in De Emigratie Street, Ermelo on 27 March.
According to Mr Armand Hilarius, district manager for the South African Community Crime Watch in the Gert Sibande Region and reaction officer of ACSU, a driver of the Volkswagen Golf was driving out of the PnP complex on the slipway when he allegedly made a u-turn into oncoming traffic.
“The vehicle collided with a Toyota Hilux, which resulted in the Hilux overtuning and ending up on it’s roof on the side of the road,” Mr Hilarius said.
According to information received a Mitsubishi with a horse trailer that transported two horses, was also involved in the accident.
The occupants and animals were safe however.
Ambulance services gave everyone involved in the accident a clean bill of health.
Ermelo Police, Traffic officers, EMS and reaction officers of ACSU were on the scene.
