Thieves in Standerton target Kosmospark and Florapark

Thieves are targeting Florapark and especially Kosmospark.

Kasselman Security Services (KSS) reported an incident in Kameeldoorn Street, Kosmospark on 2 March, when three bicycles were stolen during the night.

A flat screen television was also stolen in Impala Street, Kosmospark.

In another incident on 4 March in Kosmospark, a flat screen television and a printer were stolen in Palm Street.

According to KSS, a reaction officer noticed two suspects walking in the street.

As he approached them, they dropped a television and printer and fled the scene by jumping through other houses’ yards.

The stolen items were recovered.

In Spruce Street, housebreaking occurred when a flat screen television was taken.

A bicycle thief also got away in Tamarisk Street, Florapark on 4 March.

A house robbery took place at the flats in Berg Street on Friday, 5 March where a flat screen television, laptop and cell phones were looted.

According to KSS, the two suspects were armed with handguns. No injuries were reported.

The get-away vehicle was a white single cab Hilux with a canopy and GP number plates. Information indicated that the vehicle afterwards drove in Handel Street towards the CBD.
