Police arrest man in connection with house burglary in Chrissiesmeer

“He stole all the goods and sold them to different people in the location,” Const Patience Zonke Ngozo, spokesman for Chrissiesmeer Police, said.

Chrissiesmeer Police arrested Mr Vusimuzi Phineas Mnisi from Kwachibikhulu, Chrissiesmeer on 25 February.

This followed after a case was opened about a burglary at a residence in December last year.

The suspect allegedly broke into the complainant’s house and stole the complainant’s belongings.

“He stole all the goods and sold them to different people in the location,” Const Patience Zonke Ngozo, spokesman for Chrissiesmeer Police, said.

According to her, the suspect took the police to all the houses of the people who bought the items.

Police urged the community not to buy stolen goods because they will be arrested.

The suspect appeared at the Ermelo Magistrate’s Court on 1 March.
