One person seriously injured in accident between vehicle and truck near Ermelo

A truck and a vehicle were involved in an accident about 15km outside Ermelo on the Piet Retief Road on 30 January.

According to information received from medical personnel, three patients were attended to.

Two patients sustained only minor injuries while the other sustained serious injuries to his leg.

All patients were transported to Ermelo Provincial hospital.

Two patients were transported by ER24 and one patient by the Provincial Ambulance Services.

All City Towing, ER24, the Provincial Ambulance Services, Ermelo Police, officials from the traffic department and Msukaligwa Fire and Rescue were on the scene.
