15-year-old girl found murdered and dumped in forest in Mayflower

According to police, the girl’s grandmother alleged she sent her grandchild to the shop at Viva Filling Station near the N17 Road at 10am, but she never returned.

The Mayflower Police requests the community’s assistance after a young girl was found murdered and dumped in a forest in Mayflower.

Mayflower Police members were dispatched to the Brook Section on 17 December, where members of the community discovered the half naked body of the girl who is said to be 15-years-old.

According to police, the girl’s grandmother alleged she sent her grandchild to the shop at Viva Filling Station near the N17 Road at 10am, but she never returned.

The circumstances surrounding the murder of the victim is currently unknown and police appeal to the community to assist them in solving this “senseless” murder.
