The pothole-project of Lekwa Clean Up Crew (LCUC) and AfriForum, is off to a good start, as shared on social media the past week.
Potholes were repaired around Superspar on Tuesday, 3 November with sponsored tar.
The organisations thanked Allegro-filling station for fuel for the machines.
The team was busy in Schwickard Street on Wednesday 4, November and again on Friday, 6 November.
Stickers were removed from sidewalks in the CBD when the rain fell on Thursday.
Rubbish was also collected.
According to Mr Jandré Kasselman, a full-load of tar will be bought once finances allow it.
The next stop will be the area around the Standerton Show Grounds.
