Learners from Jim van Tonder School in Bethal receive bursaries

Bethal learners benefit from course

BETHAL – EduMaks and IPP gave the learners of Jim van Tonder School a course in telephone etiquette and attention management.

IPP also awarded 10 learners with bursaries to lean an apprenticeship at IPP.

The learners who received bursaries are Thando Mokoena, Enoch Mokomele, Rino Kavari, Nkanyiso Mkhwebane, Hlengiwe Magagaula, Amahle Makala, Musa Shongwe, Siphesihle Msibi, Siyanda Gama and Romeo van der Vyver.

Several learners also received awards for their character and other achievements.

Jeandré Yssel received the award for being the student of the week, Amahle Makala for the person with the best personality of the week, Marnitz van Wyk for being the most supportive learner, Inus Fouché for being the kindest learner, Marchell de Wet for being the best motivator, Nonhlanhla Mbonani for being the best pass the beat champ, Nathan Engelbrecht and Ian Jacobs for being the helpers of the week, Samukelo Macu for being the entertainer of the week, Hlengiwe Nosi for the most talkative learner of the week and Philisiwe Motha for the best participant of the week.

The learners were divided into four team and the member of each team had to work together to complete their tasks successfully.

Siyanda Gama was awarded for being the best participant in the blue team, Musa Shongwe in the green team, Joshua Mohale in the yellow team and Sthabiso Sokhela in the red team.
