Secunda Blood service urgently needs blood

SECUNDA – Blood levels at the South African Blood Service (SANBS) are extremely low and the management of the Secunda branch urged people to donate blood.

Ms Dot Prinsloo, donor relations practitioner at the Secunda branch of SANBS, said nearly 4 000 lives are affected nationally if the blood service does not get more blood.

“We need the selfless act of blood donation from donors in order to save lives,” said Ms Prinsloo.

“Right now, many lives are at risk nationally because we cannot meet the demand. Please donate blood and save a life today.”
