Five armed men wearing masks, entered the Hoek Winkel in Bethal yesterday (Monday, 24 August) and robbed the store.
According to Const Thomas Mogadime, spokesman of Bethal Police, one of the five men pointed a firearm at the complainant and demanded money from the till.
The other four men went to the owner’s room and took a box of cigarettes and fled in a white light delivery vehicle with no number plates.
Bethal Police are still investigating the case and requested anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects to contact Serg Thembinkosi Maseko at 083 2385 546 or 017 647 9929/30.
