An alert officer of Kasselman Security Services (KSS) on patrol noticed curtains hanging outside in Maroela Street on 22 June.
He called for backup and the officers were informed that the owners are out of town.
No contact details of the owners are available.
Upon investigation, the officer discovered a flatscreen television was missing and could not establish whether any other items were stolen.
