The communications department of the Lekwa Municipality issued a notice about the rehabilitation and upgrading of Taljaard Street, Walter Sisulu Drive and Jan de Lang Street.
The executive mayor of the Gert Sibande Municipality, Mr Muzi Chirwa, district councillors and Lekwa councillors were in attendance.
The project began on 28 May. According to the notice, traffic is now moving swiftly and road users are happy with the condition of the road.
