Some may experience Covid-19 and returning to work as fearful, due to the risks imposed, while being exposed to more people within the environment and its effects.

Here are a few tips to overcome FEAR:

F – Fear may be a real emotional experience for you and is normal seasonal phase you are going through, given the situation

E – Encourage yourself to keep safe by practicing the hygiene requirements

A – Acknowledge that you need support to overcome fear and speak to someone you trust or to a registered counsellor to ensure confidentiality

R – Re-define your view of the emotion of fear, by seeing it as a signal to protect yourself and be realistic in what you do have control over. Be cautious but avoid unrealistic thoughts that may escalate fearful emotions, hindering your productivity and concentration.
