eMZINONI – A 19-year-old man was arrested in connection with public violence last night during a service delivery protest at 2000 Section in eMzinoni.
Locals took to the street to protest against power interruptions in the area.
The disgruntled locals burned tyres and blocked the roads with various objects.
Police managed to calm the situation and at the moment things are back to normal.
The suspect will appear in court soon.
