Walk 4 Paws raises almost R12 000 for Bethal SPCA

The money they raised works out at almost R1000 per hour they walked.

BETHAL – Ms Anneke Combrinck, Ms Louanne Moller and Me Gwynneth Walters-Gerout raised R11 565 with their lockdown fundraiser for the Bethal SPCA.
These women hosted a walkathon around their home in Bethal from dusk till dawn on 25 April and rallied numerous people to sponsor them per lap.
Ms Combrinck jogged 64km around the house in the given time between 8am and 6pm, will Ms Moller and Ms Walters-Gerout each completed 43km.
The money they raised works out at almost R1 000 per hour they walked.
The Bethal SPCA thanked Because Dogs & Co. and Feral Watch & TNR 206-250 NPO who donated while they themselves are dependent on donations, as well as everyone who donated towards the cause.
