SASSA grant payment dates change

The Department of Social Development released a statement that SASSA grant payment dates will be changed from May.
According to the statement, the lessons SASSA learnt from the previous payment cycle during the national Covid-19 lockdown has compelled SASSA to review payment dates going forward.
- As of the end of May, disability and older person grants will be paid from the fourth day of the month.
- All other grants will be paid from the sixth of every month.
- The older people who use one card to receive child support and foster child grants will be able to access all linked grants from the fourth day of every month.
