Ms Gladness Majola, municipal manager of Msukaligwa Municipality released a statement on 8 April requesting donations for the homeless and less fortunate during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown.
According to the statement, the municipality requests donations from community members, businesses and organisations.
The donations can be in forms of:
- Food parcels
- Mattresses
- Blankets
- Toiletries
- Sanitizers
- Wash/bath basins
- Cleaning materials
“The donations are not limited to the above-mentioned list, any donations will be accepted.
“Kindly note that the municipality humbly requests cash/cheque donations to be avoided.”

- The office of the Municipal Manager: Mr Bongani Zwane at 071 685 6689.
- Breyten Service Delivery Unit: Mr Themba Soko at 084 886 0866.
- Lothair Service Delivery Unit: Mr Pele Zwane at 060 996 2303.
- Chrissiesmeer Service Delivery Unit: Mr Jabulani Shabangu at 071 321 8007.
