Covid-19: Some shops in Secunda Mall will remain open during lockdown

All access to the mall will be limited to Gate 1, the entrance at the traffic circle in Oliver Tambo Drive.

Several shops, pharmacies and banks in Secunda Mall that are essential will remain open during the 21 day lockdown period.

The grocery stores that will be open are Checkers Hyper, Pick n Pay, Woolworths, Biltong SA, Food Lovers Market and Game.

The pharmacies that will be open are DisChem and Clicks and the banks that are going to be open are Absa Bank, Nedbank, African Bank and Capitec Bank.

Secunda Mall’s management team said they will be implementing safety measures to ensure the overall safety of their customers, tenants and staff.

The mall’s management team will keep close and transparent communication with all tenants and staff.

All access to the mall will be limited to Gate 1, the entrance at the traffic circle in Oliver Tambo Drive.

Ms Danelle van der Watt, communications manager of Secunda Mall, said all the mall’s essential services such as security and hygiene will remain in place during the lockdown period.

The centre management’s office will be closed but essential staff members will remain at the mall.
