Gert Sibande District Municipality (GSDM) has turned a rural village into a global village by supporting people through setting up an internet cafe which was launched in Bettysgoed in Chief Albert Luthuli Municipality on 26 February.
Mr Inkosi Mnisi of the Duma Traditional Council together with members of his community was delighted with the launch.
Mr Mnisi said, “The internet cafe would go a long way in developing the community.
GSDM donated six computers, a laptop, printer, stationery as well as funding free internet for the next six months.
