eMZINONI – A prominent local businessman was stabbed and killed at his business place at about 2.30am today, 24 February.
According to the police, the man was about to close up his business when a gang stormed in and demanded to enter the premises.
When he tried to stop the gang from entering, they attacked the businessman, his wife and their son. The three were assaulted and stabbed.
The family was rushed to the hospital, but the businessman died on the way.
Police were informed about the incident and they launched a manhunt.
They apprehended four suspects and are expected to appear in court tomorrow, 25 February.
