eMBALENHLE – A teenage mother was arrested after the remains of her two-year-old daughter were found in the backyard of her family’s home in eMbalenhle on Friday, 21 February.
According to the police, the shocking discovery was made by a family member who was grading the yard.
The family informed the police that the child had last been seen in December.
The suspect allegedly told her relatives that she took her daughter to the family of the child’s father.
The body of a child was exhumed on Saturday, 22 February.
The mother is facing a murder charge.
