eMBALENHLE – A man who allegedly assaulted and force an eight-year-old child to eat his own faeces, narrowly escaped death after he was assaulted by residents.
It is alleged that the suspect accused the boy of emptying his bowels in the man’s yard.
Members of the community saw the alleged assault on the child and apprehended the suspect.
He was beaten and his shack was burned.
He was then handed over to the police.
The man was arrested and then admitted to hospital.
