Three robbers arrested after armed robbery at clothing shop in Standerton

A joint operation by police, KSS and AfriForum resulted in the arrest of three suspects.

An armed robbery took place at Fashion Land in Burger Street on Thursday, 9 January.

According to the owner, cash and a DVR were looted and the make of the one vehicle, a Toyota Run X, was known.

No CCTV-footage was consequently available, but Kasselman Security Services (KSS) shared the information.

A joint operation by police, KSS and AfriForum resulted in the arrest of three suspects.

One suspect was still in Standerton with the money and firearms.

According to information, the suspects drove past McDonald’s and turned left in a northern direction.

Police were on the alert, scouting the roads to Morgenzon, Bethal and Secunda.

Morgenzon Police stopped one vehicle and Perdekop Police contributed to a successful apprehension as well.
