Carolina Police follows-up on hint and recovers stolen motorcycle

Carolina Police received information about an man, Mr Sibusiso Kelvin Mayaba, who was selling a motorcycle that fit the description.

A 37-year-old man was arrested by Carolina Police for the possession of stolen property.

According to Const Thabang Mokwana, spokesman for Carolina Police, the owner of a red Cheetah motorbike, discovered that it was stolen from his garage.

Carolina Police received information about an man, Mr Sibusiso Kelvin Mayaba, who was selling a motorcycle that fit the description.

They followed-up and found the stolen motorcycle in his possession.

He was unable to produce ownership documents of the motorcycle and was arrested.

“The suspect was arrested for possession of stolen property and he appeared in Carolina Magistrate Court on 17 December.”

The suspect appeared again on 20 December in Carolina Magistrate Court for bail hearing.
