SECUNDA –It is now safe for residents to access their post boxes at the Post Office building in Extension 22.

This is according to the building’s caretaker.

Ridge Times previously reported that residents, especially women, felt unsafe in this spot because of vagrants occupying the space.

These homeless men were allegedly making the area inaccessible for the post box users as they drank and litter there.

The gate is now locked at night and only open from 6am to 6.30pm.

If homeless people try to gain access to the premises, the caretaker ask them to leave.
