Residents contribute towards Christmas charity event in Ermelo

Martins funerals, under new management, will be hosting a Christmas charity event for children of Ermelo at Pearl Little Foot Farm on 14 December.

According to Ms Jessica Abbott, organiser of the event, residents of Ermelo and surrounding towns have been donating shoe boxes with various necessities in them to a total of 29 children.

Backpacks were also donated.

The event will be open for the public to attend free of charge.

Santa Claus will be handing over the shoe boxes to the less privileged children.
