Betway partnered with the Mzansi Super League in 2018 to become the official betting partner of the tournament and has extended the contract for the 2019 season.

The Mzansi Super League just kicked off for the second season in South Africa.

This is South Africa’s answer to India’s IPL.

Last year saw the first season of the MSL T20 league taking place, with Jozi Stars winning the tournament. The league consists of six teams, with international players making up a part of each team.

The six teams that make up the league are Cape Town Blitz, Jozi Stars, Nelson Mandela Bay Giants, Tshwane Spartans and Durban Heat. Each team consists of 16 players, with two marquee players and one wild-card player to make up the squad.

Each squad is captained by an all-star cricketer: Faf du Plessis captains Paarl Rock, Proteas wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock captains Cape Town Blitz, and Temba Bavuma captains the Jozi Stars.

The tournament is played over a period of just over a month, starting on November 8, with the final match being played on December 16.  The 2018 Mzansi League was met with great enthusiasm by fans.

The T20 is a fast-paced and exciting cricket game that is packed with huge sixes and plenty of action. This second edition of the Mzansi Super League will be broadcast on SABC so that the whole country can participate in the excitement.

Betway partnered with the Mzansi Super League in 2018 to become the official betting partner of the tournament and has extended the contract for the 2019 season.

Betway is running the MSL Predictor for the tournament. The MSL Predictor gives members who have signed up with Betway the chance to win R50 000 for making the right predictions and ending up with the highest number of points at the end of the tournament.

There are also cash prizes for members who finish second and third on the log. The MSL Predictor is free for members and there are also weekly prizes to be won.

The MSL Predictor is simple: predict the winning team and earn five points.

If the match ends in a tie, you earn two points, and an incorrect prediction earns you zero points.
