Secunda Mall tenants receive awards for excellence

The Tenant of the Year award is annually bestowed on the store that has shown excellence in various categories such as customer service, growth in trading density, a superbly dressed shop front and being a good neighbour.

SECUNDA – The lifestyle outlet, @ Home, received the top award as Tenant of the Year at the Secunda Mall’s sixth Tenant Awards held on Thursday, 24 October.

This prestigious event that formed part of the Secunda Mall’s birthday celebrations, was catered for at Symphony’s Restaurant in the Secunda Mall.

The Tenant of the Year award is annually bestowed on the store that has shown excellence in various categories such as customer service, growth in trading density, a superbly dressed shop front and being a good neighbour.

@Home did not only win this award, but also received the Good Neighbour Award for understanding that they cannot function on their own, but they are a part of a bigger team, and that if a neighbour is doing well, so will they benefit.

Oregon Spur received the award for Excellence in the Community.

This award is an unique accolade that recognises excellence in volunteer work with charitable, non-profit, schools or similar organisations within the community.

Excellence in the community focuses on creating a better and brighter future for the youth and supporting the community that supports the recipient.

Trappers won the award for best customer service.

Vodacom 4U was the people’s choice and proved to be a favourite among Secunda residents and mall visitors.

Placecol rightly received a deserved award for staff training and development.

The Best Shop Front Award was presented to Truworths.

PNA received the accolade for the valuable contribution to Secunda Mall activities.

Side Step won the awards for the most improved store of the year.
