Standerton Show Grounds is once again a bone of contention after a recent event.
Ms Suzelle Kemp from the Lekwa Clean Up Crew (LCUC) sent photos to the Standerton Advertiser and residents voiced their frustrations on social media.
“Who’s cleaning the show grounds after the weekend’s party?
“Let the organisation who hired it, clean up. (translated)
“Really, the LCUC cleaned the terrain a 100 per cent after the show.” (translated)
According to one resident, the Lekwa Municipality is hiring out the venue at a good price and the income generated, could be used for cleaning it.
“It is unacceptable,” she said.
