Evander Gold Mine boosts education

EVANDER – Evander Gold Mines donated a mobile library to Muzimuhle Primary School, hoping that it will improve the literacy level in the school.

The company said this will ignite learners’ potential and open the door to endless possibilities.

The mobile library can be wheeled from one classroom to another, making it easily accessible to all the learners.

The initiative forms part of the Evander Gold Mines’ community projects in the Govan Mbeki municipal area.

The school appreciated the donation and said it will make a huge impact on the learners.

Ms Livhuwani Ramuedzi from Evander Gold Mines, is happy to contribute towards the bettering of the lives of the learners.

“We care for the community.

“This is not our first project and it will not be the last.

“We will continue contributing to make sure that learners get quality education.”

Ms Modise, principal, thanked the mine for their generosity.
