UPDATE [10 October 19:30] Power outage will affect water supply to GMM
HIGHVELD – The power outage at Rand Water’s Bloemendal water pump station has been repaired and Rand Water is already pumping water to GMM. This will affect water supply to Govan Mbeki Municipality.
The DA warned residents that Rand Water is currently not pumping water to Govan Mbeki Municipality.
Ms Mariaan Chamberlain, DA councillor, said the reservoirs will fill up overnight.

Pumping the water will only resume once Eskom is done with the repairs to the pump station.
eMbalenhle, Eendacht, Leandra and Kinross will be affected.
