eMBALENHLE – A 14-year-old girl was raped in Extension 22 on Sunday, 4 August.
The victim was on her way to fetch her sister when the suspect called her.
According to the police, the suspect told the victim that he wanted to send her to a shop.
On her return, the suspect allegedly dragged the victim to his room and allegedly raped her.
In another incident, a woman was raped in the open veld in Extension 16.
The victim went to a club with her friends and other male friends.
She however did not get out of the vehicle, because she was not feeling well.
Allegedly, two men returned to the vehicle and told her that they could not find her friends and they are leaving.
They promised to drop her off at home, but they drove with her to Extension 16 and allegedly raped her in a veld.
According to the information received, one of the suspects is a teacher at one of the local schools.
Police are still investigating.
