Old age home invites elderly to join their programme

The possibility of a sing-along is on the cards as well and refreshments will be offered.

Cosmos Retirement Village in Standerton has initiated a project for the elderly in the community to join them every second Wednesday of every month from 2pm to 4pm.

According to Matron Annatjie Steyn, the programme will consist of different activities such as talks and entertainment .

Those difficult to reach toenails will also get a pedicure. Mark 14 August on your calendar for an outing to the old age home.

“We want to give back to the community,” Matron Steyn said.

Staff Sister Ntomboxolo Qulu, Mr Jack la Grange (manager: Cosmos Retirement Village), Matron Annatjie Steyn and Sister Bongi Ngqosini will welcome the elderly in the community with a programme every second Wednesday of every month.
