According to Alf Byleveldt from Jelani Security, the R29 is open.
The Bethal/Morgenzon road is open, but on the alternative route from Morgenzon towards Bethal, a truck is obstructing the road.

HIGHVELD – According to information received this morning, 5 August, the four way crossing on the R580 towards Leslie, Ogies, Delmas and Secunda is blocked by two trucks that burned out. The road is open but the trucks are in the road.
It is suspected that a strike was initiated during the night and other truck drivers are torching trucks.
The R29 between Kinross and Leandra is closed for traffic, but you can make use of the R50 Standerton road or N17.
