Secunda’s own Mongol Derby photographer calls for sponsors

This is the 11th year that 45 men and women from the four corners of the earth will race 1,000km across Mongolia on semi-wild horses, during August.

SECUNDA – Mr Ian Haggerty was chosen as one of the official photographers for the Mongol Derby 2019.

The derby is featured in the Guinness Book of Records as the world’s longest and toughest horse race.

This is the 11th year that 45 men and women from the four corners of the earth will race 1,000km across Mongolia on semi-wild horses, during August.

Mr Haggerty needs sponsorship for specialised camping gear and other gadgets.

The derby takes place from 4 to 16 August.

– Three seasons lightweight tent, easy to pitch that can withstand strong winds
– Small camping gas stove and pot
– Head torch
– Battery/power pack
– Paracord
– Leatherman
