Secunda residents can get water from tanker

SECUNDA – A water pipe that burst in Helen Joseph Street close to OK Foods three days ago, will soon be fixed.

Ms Mariaan Chamberlain, DA Councillor, informed residents yesterday that the team could not fix the pipe because the fittings and clamps they received did not fit the old pipe.

According to her, all the right materials were on site today and if all goes well, water will be on within the next hour and a half.

Ms Ciska Jordaan, DA Councillor, informed residents that a water tanker was dispatched today and residents in the affected area could fetch water.
