Standerton Lions Club delivered dog and cat food as well as cleaning items to the SPCA recently.
The food was divided into three separate packets, one for Standerton, one for Secunda and one for Bethal.
The club handed it over to a SPCA volunteer, Ms Nonnie Sibanyoni, who came through from Secunda to accept the donation.
They thanked everyone who assisted, especially Highveld Milling for their contribution and Ms Phyllis Parkes for all the running around and shopping.
It was the last Lions-project for the outgoing president, Mr Les Parkes.
