Learners from AD Nkosi Secondary School explore Sasol careers

The programme for the day included discussions on career choices, mini exhibitions, young artisans' interaction sessions, as well as virtual reality plant and mock mine tours.

SECUNDA – AD Nkosi Secondary School has been converted into a technical school through the Sasol Foundation.

About 60 learners had a chance to learn from Sasol staff as part of Sasol’s participation in the Bring a Child to Work initiative recently.

The initiative was aimed at encouraging learners to pursue technical subjects in order to increase the pool of rare skills in the country.

Learners were given exposure to the wide spectrum of technical careers at Sasol and other opportunities provided by its artisanship, engineering and learnerships programmes.
