HIGHVELD – Help us to rebuild a crèche for Mandela Day and you can stand a chance to win an advertisement in Ridge Times worth R8 900.

Ridge Times and their Mandela Day partners are going even bigger with Mandela Day this year.

We plan to rebuild the Treasure Hunters Care Centre in eMbalenhle on 18 July.

This crèche is a non-profitable initiative to help look after impoverish children whose parents cannot afford daycare for their little ones.

Many of the children also hail from child-headed households and the meals they receive at the crèche are often the only food they have for the day.

The care centre is however in desperate need of repair.

The small building is dilapidated with little to entertain the kids. The Mandela Day team needs building materials, stationary, toys and furniture for the kids.

If you donate building materials worth R500 or more or cash, you will stand a chance to win a quarter page advertisement in Ridge Times.
