RAF attends to more than five hundred people at town hall

“We worked till 4pm and managed to see 532 people and originated 41 new claims from people who came to lodge their claims for the first time,” Ms Busisiwe Slaffa from the RAF said.

Consultants of the Road Accident Fund (RAF) of Mpumalanga were hard at work at the Standerton Town Hall on 29 June to help those who have not registered a claim yet or to get an update on a claim.

Their IT-department was able to check a claim status and undertook to handle certificate enquiries.

When the Standerton Advertiser arrived at 9.45am, 17 new claims have been registered and 208 residents have made their way to the hall.

The personnel were all dressed in blue which made identification easy.

“We worked till 4pm and managed to see 532 people and originated 41 new claims from people who came to lodge their claims for the first time,” Ms Busisiwe Slaffa from the RAF said.

The success of the campaign is credited to their mobilisation initiative which began two weeks ago, as well as workshops where stakeholders such as the municipality, traffic department and police were engaged.
