Police not ruling out murder after finding charred body near Twistdraai Mine road

The police have opened an inquest, but the possibility of murder has not been ruled out.

TRICHARDT – The Trichardt Police are awaiting the post mortem results of a man found dead on a farm before ruling it a murder.

A farmer and his employee found the charred body of an African man on the farm Grootvlei near the Twistdraai Mine road on 12 June.

The body and only the spot in which it was found were burned and not the surrounding veld.

The police have opened an inquest, but the possibility of murder has not been ruled out.
